How to help your children:
Helping Hands challenges the community to take a stand and help save a child's life. If we all stand together we can impact and save the world from this dreadful disease. Get actively involved with your children and create fun activities that get them up and moving. Prepare healthy, but tasty meals and snacks, reduce the portion size, increase the number of meals to 5 to 6 meals a day, and include more fruits and vegetables instead of sugary and starchy foods. Making these simple changes will increase their metabolism, lower cholesterol, and foster weight loss.
